You will need to determine where barricade tape is appropriate in meeting the barricade requirements above.

According to ANSI Z535.5-2011 and ANSI Z535.5-2011 (R2017), American National Standard for Safety Tags and Barricade Tapes (for Temporary Hazards), calls for barricade tape to be placed in a location where the worker will see it in time to take proper precautions.
