When does a driver have to notify an employer of a license suspension?
A driver must notify the employer by the end of the business day following the day the driver received notice, in accordance with §383.33 and §391.15(b)(2). The drivers must notify the carrier if:
- Their driver’s license is suspended, revoked, or cancelled;
- They lose the right to drive in any state for any amount of time; or
- They are disqualified from operating a CMV.
