Personal fall protection is familiar to most employers already, but under Subpart D, OSHA says this includes three specific options:
- Personal fall arrest – Used to arrest a worker from falling to a lower level when a fall occurs.
- Travel restraint – Used to limit a worker’s travel to prevent exposure to a fall hazard.
- Positioning devices – Used to support a worker in a fixed position.
