What happens if I only cross the state once in a while?

If you don’t register with IRP or IFTA, because you never leave your base state, and you have to make a trip outside your base state, you must have temporary operating permits for both IRP & IFTA.

For information on how to obtain temporary permits, contact J. J. Keller’s Temporary Permit Service at (800) 231-5266.
