FAQ
What construction standards require written plans?
There are very few construction rules that actually require a written safety plan. Below is a list of topics that, to the best of our knowledge, the regulation requires a written plan. Some of the rules only require a plan for parts of the regulation. An example of this is electrical safety. You are only required to have a program if you maintain an assured equipment grounding conductor program rather than using ground fault circuit interrupters. Of course, to have a top-notch safety program, it is important that you go beyond the required plans and write one for all major tasks at your jobsites.
