Employers must have an SDS for each hazardous chemical they use. Hazardous chemical is defined at 1910.1200(c) as “any chemical which is classified as a physical hazard or a health hazard, a simple asphyxiant, combustible dust, or hazard not otherwise classified.”
The HazCom Standard exempts some products at 1910.1200(b)(6).
