The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) builds a full aircraft emissions inventory as part of the point source inventory. These sources aren’t required to be submitted by reporting agencies, but EPA estimates are made available for review, and state, local, and tribal agencies may provide updates to EPA’s inputs and emissions for aircraft. They can also submit their own.
EPA encourages providing inputs and corrections to EPA estimates instead of providing a separate dataset.
