Labor and Industry statutes are found in Title 71 of the Mississippi Revised Statutes.
State Child Labor Laws: Minors under 14 years of age may not be employed or permitted to work in any mill, cannery, workshop, factory, or manufacturing establishment. Work permits are required for minors under 16 years of age.
Mississippi law limits working hours for persons under the age of 16.
