All vehicles operated or pulled on public highways must be titled. This includes cars, trucks, motorcycles, travel trailers, transport trailers, and boat or utility trailers that have an unladen weight of 2,000 pounds or more. Idaho law requires vehicles to be titled within 30 days of the purchase date.

Fees: There are fees associated with titling a vehicle within Idaho, including a $14 statutory title fee. Counties within Idaho may also impose their own administration fee on titles in addition to the statutory title fee. The highest administration fee is currently $18.75 in Blaine County.
