Summary of differences between federal and state regulations
Maryland has no major laws differing from the National Labor Relations Act or Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act regarding unions in private sector employment.
The state does require the employers notify the state Labor Department when a group of employees become unemployed because of a labor dispute.
Maryland also has specific laws related to mediation and arbitration, found in Maryland Code §4-101 et seq.

The state has no right to work law.
