Pennsylvania Tier II reporting requirements are more stringent than the federal requirements for Tier II reporting. Click on the following link to view an ezExplanation for Tier II reporting:

See the state webpage and statutes for requirements. A summary of the commonwealth’s Tier II submission requirements includes the following:
- Fees — May apply.
- Form required — Pennsylvania Tier II (include county and municipality and max and average daily weights (not just ranges)).
- Form attachments — Site map and safety data sheet required with each reported chemical.
- Reporting agency — Bureau of Occupational & Industrial Safety/Pennsafe Program.
- Electronic submission — Not required but strongly encouraged.
- Hard copy—Required to be sent to local fire departments (except in Philadelphia County).
- Signed letter — Required if a facility no longer needs to Tier II report but did in the past.
