Summary of differences between federal and state regulations
The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, Wage and Hour Division administers and enforces civil rights and labor standards which have been enacted for the protection of state workers. The requirements for applying to pay subminimum wages can be found at Oregon Administrative Rule 839-020-0015, Fixed Minimum Hourly Wage Rates Lower than the Minimum Wage Rate.
