Summary of differences between federal and state regulations
The Nevada Department of Business & Industry administers and enforces labor standards which have been enacted for the protection of state workers.
The state of Nevada adopted the minimum wage requirements used by the federal FLSA rule. Nevada does allow employees to recover the difference between the minimum wage rate and what they are actually paid.
