Summary of differences between federal and state regulations
The Montana Department of Labor & Industry, Labor Standards Bureau administers and enforces civil rights and labor standards which have been enacted for the protection of state workers.
The state of Montana does not allow a tip credit, and does not have a training wage provision.
There is also a lengthy list of exclusions from the minimum wage found at §39-3-406. Exclusions.
