Intrastate Motor Carriers

Non-specification bulk and non-bulk packaging, including cargo tank motor vehicles, may be used only if all the following conditions exist:

The maximum capacity of the vehicle is less 3,500 gallons;
The shipment of goods is limited to intrastate commerce; and
The vehicle is used only for the purpose of transporting fuel oil, kerosene, diesel fuel, gasoline, gasohol, or any combination of these substances.

Indianapolis Ordinance

While within Marion County, all vehicles transporting hazardous materials must operate with their headlights illuminated at all times.
