Wyoming incorporates by reference the federal regulations for Hazardous Waste Reporting; however, the state adds further requirements.

A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:

Wyoming requires the applicant to demonstrate his/her fitness to meet the requirements for a hazardous waste permit.
Wyoming does not adopt the option for the landfill owner or operator to make a demonstration to the Director in order to allow the placement of liquids that are not hazardous wastes in the landfill.
