Arizona incorporates by reference the federal regulations for Hazardous Waste Reporting and TSD facilities; however, the state adds further requirements.

A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:

ADEQ charges fees for the review of treatment, storage, and disposal (TSD) facility permit applications and for the preparation of permits and permit modifications.
The persons associated with a TSD facility must supply character/background information sufficient to demonstrate their reliability, expertise, integrity, and competence to operate a TSD facility.
