As you probably know, these types of injuries are a major hazard in the workplace. According to the General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, employers are responsible for providing employees with a safe workplace free from recognized hazards.
Ergonomics-related injuries add up to a lot of missed work which can result in low productivity. Do your best to prevent injuries and keep your facility running smoothly. Common causes of ergonomic injuries include poor lifting techniques, fatigue, repetitive motion, and awkward postures and movements.
