Nevada has adopted federal OSHA standards and incorporates them by reference. The Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Nevada OSHA) has a minor variation to the standard regarding separate lavatories for men and women.
Any employer who employs five or more males and three or more females in the same building or on the same premises must provide separate lavatories or toilet rooms for each sex. The facilities must be designated for use by males or females with a printed or painted sign on the door.
The standard does not apply to employers located in office buildings as long as lavatories or toilet rooms for each sex are reasonably accessible in the building.
