Private carriers operating intrastate are not regulated by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department and are not required to register for operating authority.

Interstate

Arkansas is a participating member of the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement (UCRA). Online registration and fee payment is recommended and available to all carriers at the national UCRA website at https://www.ucr.gov/.
