Pay transparency
There are no state-wide laws regarding pay transparency in Oregon.
Salary history
In Oregon, employers may not ask about a job applicant's pay history until after an offer of employment is made, nor screen applicants based on current or past salary. Employers may not use a candidate's prior compensation history to set pay, except for current employees who are moving to different positions with the same employer.
