Pay transparency
Nevada's Pay Transparency Law requires employers to provide the wage or salary range to all applicants for a position. The law applies to all private employers, staffing firms, and government agencies, regardless of size.
Salary history
In Nevada, employers may not seek the wage or salary history of an applicant for employment; may not reply on such history to determine whether to offer employment to an applicant or determine the rate of pay for that applicant; and may not refuse to interview, hire, promote, or employ an applicant based on whether salary history was provided.
