OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour training - Hawaii

Federal OSHA recommends but does not "require" what's typically called "OSHA 10-hour" and "OSHA 30-hour" training. Like federal OSHA, Hawaii does not specifically require "OSHA 10-hour" and "OSHA 30-hour" training.

With some amendments, Hawaii incorporates by reference most of the July 1, 2017, edition of the federal OSHA requirements for state and local government and private employers in general industry and construction.

In addition, Hawaii mandates a "safety and health training program" for these employers per HAR 12-60-2(b)(4) and HAR 12-110-2(b)(4), for general industry and construction, respectively. Refer to the regulatory text for the details.
