An applicant for a professional licence (Class 1, 2, 3, 4, and school bus) must file the required medical report with the Administrator at the time of initial application and whenever requested by the Administrator. On the basis of this report, the Administrator will determine whether or not a certain class of licence may be issued or if it may be issued with restrictions.
The program applies to all Class 1, 2, 3, and 4 licensed drivers or drivers holding Endorsements 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Medical reports are being requested:
“Code W” will appear on the driver’s licence if the driver is not medically qualified to operate into the United States (hearing impaired drivers and drivers with epilepsy).
