Transportation of Hazardous Materials
No permit is required for the transportation of hazardous materials within the state.
Transportation of Hazardous Waste
Transporters of solid and hazardous waste must obtain a permit from the North Dakota DEQ, Division of Waste Management.
Radioactive Material
A license is required to transport technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive material (TENORM) or waste contaminated with TENORM. The license is issued by the North Dakota DEQ, Radiation Control Program.
