Transportation of Hazardous Materials and Waste

No permit is required to transport hazardous materials or waste within the state. Transporters of hazardous waste are required to obtain a hazardous waste identification number designated as a transporter.

Liquefied Compressed Gas (LC-Gas)

Businesses transporting, storing, distributing, and/or selling LC-Gas in Mississippi are required to obtain the appropriate permit from the Mississippi Insurance Department (MID).
