Transportation of Hazardous Materials

No permit is required for the transportation of hazardous materials.

Transportation of Hazardous Waste

To transport hazardous waste within Kentucky, a transporter must obtain an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) identification number and register with the Kentucky EEC by submitting a completed Registration of Hazardous Waste Transportation Activity form. The registration fee is $300.
