Radioactive Material and Waste
A general license or specific license issued by the Florida Department of Health (DOH) is required to transport radioactive material and/or deliver radioactive material to a carrier for transport.
A permit is required by the Florida DOH to transport low-level radioactive waste into the state. Each application for a permit must be accompanied by an annual fee of $100. Permits are valid for 365 days following the date of issue.

Hazardous Waste and Oil
Hazardous waste transporters and used oil handlers must have an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) identification number, register with the Florida DEP, and adhere to specific rules and regulations mandated by the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal DEP.
