No permit is required for transportation of hazardous materials.

Transportation of Hazardous and Solid Waste

Transporters of hazardous waste must comply with 40 CFR Part 263, as incorporated into Arizona regulations. A hazardous waste transporter must obtain an EPA identification number from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) before transporting hazardous waste. EPA identification numbers may be obtained by submitting EPA Form 8700-12 through ADEQ.
