No permit is required to transport hazardous waste within Alaska.
Asbestos
Packets are available containing instructions and application forms for authorization to conduct a one-time disposal of up to 250 cubic yards of material containing asbestos — both regulated and non-regulated. Authorizations will be issued under 18 AAC 60.200(d). Authorization fees are assessed in accordance with 18 AAC 60.700 Table E-3. Penalties for non-compliance with the authorization will be assessed in accordance with AS 46.03.760.
