Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health (Kentucky OSH) standards are a combination of state-specific standards, OSHA standards incorporated with state-specific provisions, and OSHA standards incorporated by reference. As of June 2025, the state will no longer enforce standards that are stricter than federal OSHA. Kentucky OSH has no additional illumination requirements for general industry.
