According to Appendix D to 1910.1200, the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) must include the chemical name and concentration (exact percentage) or concentration ranges of all ingredients that are classified as health hazards in accordance with paragraph (d) of 1910.1200. These ingredients should be included if they meet one of the following criteria:
- They are present above their cut-off/concentration limits.
- They present a health risk below the cut-off/concentration limits.
The concentration (exact percentage) should be specified unless a trade secret claim is made in accordance with paragraph (i) of 1910.1200. Additionally, concentration ranges may be used in cases where there is batch-to-batch variability in the production of a mixture or for a group of substantially similar mixtures with similar chemical composition.
