If the healthcare worker (HCW) has symptoms of M. tuberculosis (TB), a chest radiograph (CXR) would be recommended. If the HCW is immunocompromised, a CXR might be considered. If not, another CXR is not considered unless recommended by a physician. Again, the treating physician should decide if and when CXRs should be performed.
