Vermont has adopted Part 395 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs).

Part 395 applies to vehicles operating intrastate with a gross vehicle weight or gross combination weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds, or transporting hazardous materials requiring placarding.

Electronic Logging Device (ELD)

Vermont has adopted the electronic logging device (ELD) requirements in Part 395 for intrastate motor carriers and drivers.
