Nevada has adopted Part 395 of the Federal Regulations.
Applicability
Part 395 applies to intrastate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight, gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight rating, or gross combination weight of 26,001 or more pounds, or any vehicle transporting hazardous materials as defined in NRS 459.7024.
Exception — An intrastate driver may not drive more than 12 hours following 10 consecutive hours off duty or for any number of hours after having accrued more than 15 consecutive hours of on-duty time. An intrastate driver may not drive after having accrued 70 hours of on-duty time within any period of 7 consecutive days.
Electronic logging device (ELD)
Nevada has adopted the electronic logging device (ELD) requirements in Part 395 for intrastate motor carriers and drivers.
