Mississippi has adopted Part 395 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), as amended.

Part 395 applies to commercial motor vehicles operated in intrastate commerce with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, or vehicles transporting a placardable amount of hazardous materials.

Electronic logging device (ELD)

Mississippi has adopted the electronic logging device (ELD) requirements in Part 395 for intrastate motor carriers and drivers.
