Hazardous waste cleanup programs - Wyoming
Wyoming (EPA Region 8) is fully authorized to implement its own Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Solid and Hazardous Waste Division is the primary implementing authority in the state. Responsibilities include site assessment and cleanup, as well as permitting, inspections, investigations, and enforcement of hazardous waste regulations.
