Hazardous waste cleanup programs - Nevada
Nevada (EPA Region 9) is fully authorized to implement its own Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) has the primary responsibility to manage hazardous waste cleanup in the state. The NDEP enforces state and federal hazardous waste laws, issues permits, conducts inspections and investigations, and more.
