Minnesota (EPA Region 5) is fully authorized to implement its own Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is authorized by EPA to administer the program statewide. In the Twin Cities metropolitan area, additional oversight and support is provided by county agencies.
