Wisconsin requires fuel tax licensing and reporting for Interstate Motor Carriers who operate qualified motor vehicles. Interstate carriers need to obtain an International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) license and decals or purchase a temporary fuel trip permit before operating in Wisconsin or other IFTA member jurisdictions.
