Carriers from IFTA jurisdictions must have an IFTA license and decal, or a fuel trip permit.

Minnesota currently has a 20-mile border agreement with North Dakota whereby fuel reciprocity is granted to all vehicles operating within a 20-mile radius of the border. They also have a 30-mile border agreement with Wisconsin.

$25 per fuel trip permit plus $8.50 filing fee
