Federal: 29 CFR 1910.33, .34, .35, .36, .37, and Appendix to Subpart E
A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:
- Minnesota requires minimum levels of illumination in aisles, exits, etc.
- Artificial lighting in exits and related passageways is to have a supply that does not fail if room lighting fails, preferably from an independent connection or connections extending back to the main service entrance.
