A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:

Minnesota requires minimum levels of illumination in aisles, exits, etc.
Artificial lighting in exits and related passageways is to have a supply that does not fail if room lighting fails, preferably from an independent connection or connections extending back to the main service entrance.
