Hawaii incorporated by reference the July 1, 2017, edition of the federal OSHA general industry requirements for exits (egress) at 29 CFR 1910, Subpart E; therefore, the state requirements are identical to the federal requirements, except for some revised definitions found in HAR 12-60-50.
