WARN Act Notice
Summary of state requirements: Tennessee employers with at least 50 but no more than 99 full-time employees must notify employees or the employee representative of a reduction in operations when the closure of a workplace or portion of operations, the modernization of a workplace or portion of the operations, the relocation of a workplace or portion of operations, or the implementation or application of any management policy within a workplace reduces the number of employees working in the workplace permanently or indefinitely by 50 or more during any three-month period.

Workforce Separation
Summary of state requirements: Tennessee employers with five or more employees and Tennessee employers engaged in the mining and production of coal with one or more employees must provide employees with a Separation Notice within 24 hours after a worker’s separation from employment.
