Mississippi has adopted Part 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), as amended.

Part 391 applies to commercial motor vehicles operated in intrastate commerce with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, or vehicles transporting a placardable amount of hazardous materials

Drivers Qualification (DQ File)	Same as federal
Driving Records	The “Driver Records Request” form (DPPA-3) may be used. Consent is required for the release of a driver record. The form may be obtained via the Department of Public Safety website: https://tinyurl.com/DrivingRecordMS1. The fee is $11.00
