Massachusetts has a state-specific interim Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for six PFAS substances combined: PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFNA, PFHpA, and PFDA.

The state has rulemaking in progress to amend its PFAS regulations to be at least as stringent as the federal MCLs.
