Indiana follows the federal Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs).

Indiana has no state-specific PFAS drinking water requirements.
On January 13, 2025, Indiana HB 1366 was introduced that would require the Indiana Department of Health to establish MCLs for PFAS in drinking water that are not less stringent than any federal EPA levels. The bill died in committee.
