Arkansas follows the federal Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs). 

PFOA: 4 parts per trillion (ppt) 
PFOS: 4 ppt

Arkansas has no state-specific PFAS drinking water requirements.

The state actively monitors for PFAS contamination and receives federal funding for testing of surface waters. The state participates in the EPA’s Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule 5 (UCMR-5) to ensure compliance.
