Does a company making both domestic and international shipments need two sets of labels?
No. The UN Recommendations, IMDG, and ICAO have provisions for use of the hazard wording on the labels, and 172.405(a) states that “For Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8, text indicating a hazard is not required on a primary or subsidiary label.”
