No, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations concerning conspicuity, found in 393.13, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108 (571.108, section S8.2) apply to trailers, semitrailers, and tractors only. In addition, the conspicuity requirements for truck tractors in 393.13 do not apply to straight or box trucks.
